Michael volunteered to help at the Rays of Hope walk again this year. He was pleased to be able to do his part to help find the cure of breast cancer. He helped park cars at Longmeadow High School so that the walkers and runners could ride the shuttle to the start at Temple Beth El on Dickinson Street in Springfield. A shuttle system is required because at least 15,000 people participate every year in this amazing fundraiser. Rays of Hope has raised over $9.25 million dollars since it started in 1994 and all of the money raised by this event is kept in the local community.

Send us your best, your most creative, your most colorful, and your most inspired photographs and you could be featured in our 2012 calendar. The staff members here at Minuteman Press will judge each photograph (without knowing the owner’s name) and vote for their “top twelve”.
All submissions are due by Friday, October 28 at 5:00 pm. For more information and tips for success, please visit our calendar contest page. We have also posted the winning photos from our 2010 calendar and 2011 calendar. Good luck!

Michael and Jake Attended the Western Mass Business Expo lunch at the Mass Mutual Center. They got to hear Mike Kittredge speak about how he started Yankee Candle and his new adventure with his son at Kringle Candle. As a small business it was inspirational to hear how he grew Yankee Candle from his parents basement to an international brand.
