We’re excited to announce the grand opening of Minuteman Press of New London! Gail and Steve Weber, Michael’s parents and owners of Minuteman Press of Norwich, recently opened the New London shop. They have been welcomed with open arms by the New London business community, and they are looking forward to forging strong business relationships in that area. The New London Day recently featured an article about their business expansion.

More exciting news at Minuteman Press! Michael and the other board members of the Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield (YPS) were honored as Difference Makers by Business West.
Business West created the Difference Makers award to acknowledge members of our community who make significant contributions to Western Mass. Here is an excerpt from the cover story:
Meet the Difference Makers
They lead and inspire
Their contributions vary, from helping to improve the quality and diversity of the region’s workforce to providing books for local school libraries; from donating time, energy, and know-how to area nonprofit agencies to spearheading efforts to engage, involve, and educate the Valley’s young professionals. The common denominator is that these individuals are all making a difference in Western Mass. They’re not the only ones, certainly, but their stories reflect the work of countless others to make this a better region in which to live, work, and run a business.

In support of the Springfield Boys & Girls Club, Minuteman Press sponsored a tree for the 8th Annual Festival of Trees. Lindsey created a S’mores themed tree to complement her sweet tooth. The Minuteman Press tree featured ornaments that looked like Hershey bars and Hershey kisses, as well as a wide variety of collectible S’mores ornaments.
Visitors to the Festival of Trees can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win their favorite tree. All proceeds benefit the programs at the Boys and Girls club and the 2800 children they serve.
